What is a Node?
At Lacuna, we use the word “node” to describe the ground-based communications terminal that:
- Connects to one or more sensors
- Buffers and packages the data
- Sends messages directly to our satellites
- Runs the intelligent LWiN® software that manages the timing, frequency and power of transmissions
What Makes the MultiNode Special?
The multi Node is designed to be plug-and-play — but is also powerful enough for professionals. It includes:
